Dr. Radeemada Highlights the Role of Intellectual Property Strategy in Driving Thai SME Competitiveness

On August 15, 2025, Dr. Radeemada Mungkarndee, in her capacity as a Committee Member of the Intellectual Property Association of Thailand (IPAT), was honored to serve as a panel speaker on the topic “Directions for Enhancing Thai SMEs in the Short, Medium, and Long Term through Intellectual Property” at the seminar on the presentation of the Intellectual Property Foresight Plan. The seminar was part of the Intellectual Property Foresight Project for Enhancing Thai SMEs, Fiscal Year 2025, which aimed to gather opinions on the draft Scenario Foresight Report for Intellectual Property and the Intellectual Property Development Plan for the economy, covering short-, medium-, and long-term strategies. The event was organized by the Thammasat University Research and Consultancy Institute in collaboration with the Department of Intellectual Property.

Dr. Radeemada shared insights on leveraging intellectual property strategies as a key tool to strengthen the competitiveness of Thai SMEs and emphasized the importance of support from government agencies in building SME resilience. She also contributed her perspectives and experiences on enabling Thai SMEs to compete effectively on the international stage by adopting tailored intellectual property strategies at each stage of the innovation process.
